Marketplace Policy

The Peerify Marketplace is designed to help students safely buy, sell, and discover products and services within their campus communities.
1. Allowed Listings
Users may list:
- New or fairly used products.
- Student services and freelance offerings.
- Student business products.
- Event-related items and approved campus opportunities.
2. Prohibited Listings
The following are not allowed:
- Illegal products or services.
- Weapons or dangerous items.
- Drugs or controlled substances.
- Counterfeit or stolen goods.
- Adult or explicit content.
- Fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive listings.
- Anything that violates applicable laws or university policies.
3. Seller Responsibilities
Sellers must:
- Provide accurate descriptions and images.
- State prices clearly.
- Respond to buyers respectfully.
- Deliver products or services as agreed.
- Keep listings up to date.
4. Buyer Responsibilities
Buyers should:
- Read listings carefully before making a purchase.
- Ask questions when necessary.
- Communicate respectfully.
- Complete payments and pickups as agreed.
- Report suspicious activity immediately.
5. Safety
For physical exchanges, we encourage users to meet in safe, public locations on or around campus whenever possible. Never share sensitive personal or financial information unnecessarily.
6. Disputes
Peerify provides the platform for students to connect but is not responsible for disputes between buyers and sellers. We may review reports and take action against users who violate our policies.
7. Enforcement
Peerify reserves the right to:
- Remove listings that violate this policy.
- Suspend or terminate user accounts.
- Restrict marketplace access.
- Investigate reports of fraud or abuse.
Our priority is to maintain a marketplace that is safe, trustworthy, and beneficial for every student.
