Our story
Buying and selling on campus was harder than it needed to be.
We watched students struggle to recover after being scammed by anonymous sellers, while student entrepreneurs struggled to get their products in front of the right customers and earn their trust.
We knew campus commerce could be better — with structure, discovery, and trust built into the experience.
That realization led to Peerify: a student marketplace and campus community platform built for students to shop safely, grow their businesses, and connect within their campus communities.
Founder
Kaothar Jimoh
Kaothar founded Peerify after seeing students struggle to shop safely and student entrepreneurs struggle to reach the right customers.
With a background in Product Management, business development and Product Marketing, Kaothar leads Peerify’s product and business strategy, working with a lean team of engineers, designers, and marketers to fulfil Peerify’s promise to students: a trusted campus community.
